Week 12
Its all over red rover ! I am stoked with the way in which my project has turned out, I think the dossier came out really well. I had a few problems with files going missing and bad file management which gave me abit of grief. But I think I have comprised a well rounded strategy for a plausible project that I think could be executed which is something I am very proud of. The only thing I would do differently would be making a short video that would show the project in action from the web to the app to the intermission taking place, but I am only one man and ran out of time to execute this.

Week 11
Week 11
This week my project has been in full swing coming up with new touch points and way in which they can be adapted to be more engaging for my user group. I got some awesome feedback from Mark around creating a community and inspiring more interaction so this has been my focus for the week. I have altered the feed on my website to make it more user driven which I think will work well and am planning to do something similar for the zine. For week 12 I need to finalise these touch points and make sure I have my approach and user journey ideas sorted. Overall I am feeling very good about the work.

Week 10
Crit
My laptop was being repaired at this point so I didn't have access to my files for crit which was a real bummer because I was hope for some feedback on my aesthetic choice I started working towards. However when I get it back I will be able to get some constructive feedback.
I wrote my idea on some paper and placed it out with my workbook and received some feedback about my wording, I used the word hub which people did not understand which was fair enough.
I am moving forward with my app expanding it into a website and also changing up the content to make it more exciting, almost creating a brand identity more than just a an app which is a lot of fun so far.

Week 9
Testing
This week I did lots of testing of ideas within my app, finding out what it is that people want.
I started to look into features that are need and what I can discard in order to streamline the process.
I had positive feedback from my peers on the word which was good but I need to move towards a new aesthetic as I am not happy with it at the moment

I started to look at what kind of other touch points could be useful or my project and I have decided poster are an easy way to inform people so that is where I will start but I am excited about the prospects of developing other cool touch points.

Week 8
Thursday
Prototyping- I found this session pretty hard to interact with so early in the piece as I didn't really know where to start, my idea was not developed or defined enough to start making or testing. However I did continue to brainstorm and work out where I want my idea to go.
Friday
More of the same on Friday, I started to prototype a potential app idea looking at what may be needed within the project to get people outdoors. what is stopping them ? How can we overcome this ? those types of questions. what are the goals ?

Week 7
Thursday
We started to look into how we can interact with different areas of wellbeing through our idea. How we can help users to connect, be active, give, keep learning and take notice.
I found this to be an interesting way to look at how the user interacts with your idea because it directly relates to how the idea my effect the users life, as a way of thinking I found it very useful.

I started to do some surveys and research about what my peers like to do in the outdoors, most of it seems to be weather dependent. Working out what I wanted ask for my surveys was difficult, asking the right questions to get more detailed and informative answers

Week 6
This week in class we came back and made the decision of which brief we intend to continue on with.
Thursday.
Initially I wanted to move away from my brief towards the urban anxiety brief, but I have decided to change back to my own brief as it is better suited to my interests and audience. I think I want my brief to have something to do with the outdoors but I am not entirely sure yet.
